When Cary Grant plays your father in a major Hollywood movie about WWII ("I Was A Male War Bride"), it all seems too big for a young boy to grasp. Then, in time, it becomes clear that at the end of the day he's just your Dad and that's how you knew him best. Still, with decades of international...

Not sure what to say?

Roger was an outstanding professors of mine back at Chicago Teachers' College North. A brilliant and decent man, and a scholar. Who would ever think that a city college would have persons of this caliber? May he rest in the Peace of God!

Just found this... Wow! Made it to 96-97! He was truly a man of his own. One of, if not my favorite professor of all time. Happy trails... or dives?

Roger was a good friend and mentor. We'll miss him!

Your father convinced Michel to come to Chicago to persue his graduate degree. I was an undergraduate in earth science. We met and the rest as they say is history. May the God of all comfort be with you in the days ahead.

Roger lived a full life, and he has helped so many. My heart goes out to the family and friends. Coping with the loss of a loved one is very difficult. May you take comfort in knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. God can prove to be the Best Comforter during troublesome times. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. (Psalm chapter 34 verse 18)

May your hearts be filled with the wonderful memories of all the joyous times you spent together. Hoping your family will find comfort in the words of the Apostle Peter at 1 Peter 5: 6 and 7.

I am sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in Psalms 29:11, knowing that in difficult times like this, God gives peace and strength. DM
