Roger Secrist Christiansen

My condolences to Yuki and Roger's family. I knew Roger since we were eighteen and he had an apartment on Vauxhall Street on the third floor with a swing in the living room. I used to hang out in the dark room of O'Neil and he taught me all the basics of photography. I was so glad to follow Roger's career and see him do so well. He was such a creative and kind person and he stayed in touch with his old friends back home. I really enjoyed meeting up a couple of years ago for lunch in Mystic....

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Roger. Such an amazing guy. In the 70´s we all headed out to find ourselves and landed in Santa Cruz California. Roger was already there with John Bailey and Byron and I showed up shortly after. Byron and I rented a little studio right next door to Roger! The Peter Pan Motel, I think it was called! My Condolences to the family of Roger Christianson. He was a quality person at New London High School. He touched some many people with his kindness and generosity. His career in the Arts is inspiring. Rest in peace Roger!
