Not sure what to say?

Roger was a beacon of light, laughter, levity, and sweet friendship for decades in my life and the lives of my family. We met in high school in the outrageous 60´s, made good trouble, and our paths crossed many times over the ensuing years. Most memorably, he was the photographer for my first wedding in 1976. He captured not only many guests nicely, but the only existing portrait of the five Shakkour brothers, as they happened to be visiting from Lebanon. This continues to be one remarkable...

Peaceful Reflections

I was deeply saddened to hear of Roger´s passing. He was such a special friend, and I will always treasure the memories we shared together. One of my fondest is our motorcycle trip just after graduating from New London High School in when Roger, Mike Gray, John Bailey, and I rode up to Montreal. Please...

Our condolences. Roberta and Andy Malleck

My condolences to Yuki and Roger's family. I knew Roger since we were eighteen and he had an apartment on Vauxhall Street on the third floor with a swing in the living room. I used to hang out in the dark room of O'Neil and he taught me all the basics of photography. I was so glad to follow Roger's career and see him do so well. He was such a creative and kind person and he stayed in touch with his old friends back home. I really enjoyed meeting up a couple of years ago for lunch in Mystic....

Roger was already there with John Bailey and Byron and I showed up shortly after. Byron and I rented a little studio right next door to Roger! The Peter Pan Motel, I think it was called! Roger was energetic, and motivated with his love of photography; his passion as it turned out! I always loved his smile and zest for life, his...

My Condolences to the family of Roger Christianson. He was a quality person at New London High School. He touched some many people with his kindness and generosity. His career in the Arts is inspiring. Rest in peace Roger!
