Not sure what to say?

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about Roger's passing. Kathy and I have been living and Florida and have decided to buy a summer home which we did in Kaukauna. I was in the process of looking you and Roger up when I stumbled on Roger's obituary. What a shock, I am truly sorry, what a great human being. The memories Kathy and I have of our time on the chain are truly special. The late afternoon conversations with you, Roger and Carl on the pier will always be special to us. These are the memories...

Linda,

I was so sorry to read of Roger's death. He was a wonderful alumnus of the UW Oshkosh College of Business. I always enjoyed seeing him at the annual alumni dinner as he was very committed to UW Oshkosh and our college. We were proud to have him as an alumnus and to recognize him with the Outstanding Alumnus Award. It was much deserved.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. (I just learned this weekend of his death otherwise I would have written sooner.)

Mrs. Cross:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Many prayers are going out to you and yours at this difficult time. You are one of the best teachers I have ever had. May your find comfort in your memories with the one you loved.

As your students, we were always bowled over by the tales of your travels and adventures with Mr. Cross -- you both gave us a sense that the world was so much bigger than Hortonville -- and so we were so sorry to hear this news; what a stunning and surprising and irreplaceable loss. We are keeping you in our prayers as you adjust. We hope you are comforted by many happy memories and surrounded by friends.

Linda~
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will keep you in my prayers.

Mrs. Cross~ just wanted to convey my condolences for the passing of your husband, Mr. Cross. My children all attended Hortonville High School with you as their teacher, and they talked of the wonderful places you both had been to. Goodnight Mr. Cross, and may God watch over Mrs. Cross until you meet again.
