Not sure what to say?

Missing you dear Roger. You were such an important part of all our lives and truly a wonderful person.

This year in June was the 35th anniversary of my daughters bat mitzvah and in August will be her 18th wedding anniversary. Weve been reminiscing. Of course Rogers name came up. We remembered how sweet he was and how honored we were to have him officiate at both events. He will forever be tied to our family. Sweet memories.

We have been holding on to every hope of receiving another update from Roger for several months, and we are devastated to see this Times obituary, now that we have gathered the courage to look. Roger was my Caltech classmate, friend, and string-quartet partner, going back over 50 years. He worked in my late father's lab during his first sojourn at Caltech, and Dad was sorry that Roger did not complete some very promising work on photosynthesis. Roger and I were also section-mates in the...

I am very saddened by the news of Roger's passing and am wishing his wonderful wife Melody and their four boys : Joshua, Jeffrey, Kenneth, and Daniel strength during this time as they mourn such a loss. I had the opportunity to babysit for all four Goodman sons for five years to give their exhausted and loving parents a much-deserved break ! They were the most energetic, intelligent, and verbal children and I would observe how patient and hands-on Roger was as a father. But what I remember...

ROGER WAS ONE OF OUR DEAREST FRIENDS FOR OVER 40 YEARS, AND I THOUGHT OF HIM AS A BROTHER.ALL OUR MEMORIES OF ROGER ARE OF SWEETNESS, LIGHT, COMPASSION, HUMOR, SPIRITUALITY, BRILLIANCE AND LOVE. DEAREST ROGER, YOU ARE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER . REST IN PEACE.OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS.

Roger was a down to earth, helpful and hardworking Person. We will surely miss him here at Teledyne. May his soul rest in peace and God bless his family.

Roger was an amazing coworker, mentor, and teacher. I've learned a lot from his integrity, vast knowledge and his amazing character traits. He was brilliant and yet down-to-earth, always approachable, always willing to help. He so badly missed here at Teledyne.
May God comfort and bless his family.

My regards to Roger's family and friends. Even though we attended JB and Fairfax together we were never close friends but I respect and admire what others have written about him. Again, my best to the family.

Although we only met Mr. Goodman once, we benefit every working day from the incredible job he and Melody did of molding their son Daniel into an intelligent, kind, and hard working young man. Our hearts are with you all at this so very difficult time. Sue and George
