Roger was a character. We fought more than we talked! I was so excited to tell him that I finally made it to Ricky T's and The Pearl. I will miss our talks and he will miss his dark chocolate.

Roger enjoyed being a Fairfield Policeman, I think he really enjoyed the summers the best being part of the Marine Patrol and working out of the South Benson Marina. He had a career many wished they had enjoyed. I remember reading about his doing work as a captain of his own boat in Florida. He was a great guy.

We Yaffies were all very upset to learn of Roger's death. It has been many years now since we last saw him, however, our daughters, Jessica and Alison, and Sheila and I were extremely fond of him and always enjoyed the time we spent with him on our many trips to and from the airport with him. Roger was a good friend to me during a very difficult time in my life. He was a very good person and I will always remember him. I am very sorry for your loss.
