Not sure what to say?

Still the trailblazer. Renaissance man. Cool uncle. So many unique friends. So many hearts aching. Homemade Italian & red wine in that vintage inner-loop ambiance. So much good music. Now your Heart's of Space. And those Lafollette Christmas Eves! Thank you for enriching my existence. Thanks for the "visit". Shira & I miss you...

Just wanted to update all of Rog's friends and inform you that we recently learned that his official cause of death was a diabetic coma. This came as a huge shock to us, his family, since no one, not even Roger, I am quite confident, knew that he even had diabetes. While there is a family history, he is the first of our generation to have had the disease. So sad...

Roger's wake is now set for June 12th. Let me know if you would like to receive an invitation. Mitakuye Oyasin (we...

I have many memories of Roger in Houston while I was growing up...I remember he always had the coolest music, wonderful art, and he could carve a mean turkey! If Roger was there, it meant we would have a good time. I was lucky enough to have seen Roger, Renee, and Den for dinner on Jan. 3rd, what a birthday gift! Roger was a special spirit and I will miss him very much.

I have many fond memories of Roger having known him practically all of my life. From the early days of growing up in Houston to the Ski trips and rounds of golf in New Mexico when he and his buds came to visit us. The time I was his roommate at the Bomar house and the nights at Ruds playing darts and being turned on to all the great music he played will always be remembered. His move to the great Desert Southwest seemed to have energized him and he made many friends here in New Mexico and...

Yes Roger, we miss you. Thanks for teaching us to make Spaghetti Sauce and so many other things. We think of you often and look forward to seeing you on the other side where we'll remember the good times. Aho!

My deepest condolences to Roger's family...
The sad news of Roger's passing has cast a shadow far and wide over those who knew and loved him. I will always remember Roger as a dear friend and teacher with whom I shared many meaningful adventures and unforgettable lessons from this journey we call life. Roger was a unique individual who lived life the way he wanted, while having the gift of creating many, many friendships where ever he went.

Well, Roger, I guess you know...

… my sincere sympathies to Roger's family and friends …

… ever the artist, ever the lover of music, Roger added color and melody to the hearts and souls of those whose paths crossed with his, no matter how brief … and for knowing him the the short time that I did, I am thankful … peace … “donadagohvi”

Upon hearing of Rodger's passing, I couldn't help feeling that a bright light has left this world, thankfully it shone across my path. Being Rodger's roomate was a great time in my life, and the many great memories that came in that time will never fade; softball (especially beating Emo's), golf at Memorial, that horrible Hawkwind when he was hung over, his smiling dog Luna, sharing great music, and many a late night/early morning at Rudz. Rodger you will be missed, but we are all blessed...

Roger was such a beautiful person. I miss him greatly. As I recall times we shared, I smile at the wonderful memories. Sorry to have missed the celebration of his life at Rudz. On my next visit to Houston
I'll be there, toasting our friend.
