Not sure what to say?

Roger was a good friend and excellent physician. He was insightful and disarmingly honest which I found refreshing.I am sure he is and will be greatly missed.

Our dear Roger, what a remarkable human you were. You took everyone under your wing and guided us with patience and kindness. You were a mentor of life and taught many of us how to lead with our hearts in difficult times. My admiration of your grace will endure. Friend, thank you for touching my life. Warmly, Tara & Co

I am so sorry to have missed Roger's Celebration of Life. I did not see the announcement. So glad it was well attended.

Rogers celebration of life was as he had wished it. A party with music, food, wine, Family, and friends. The people that turned out! Nurses from 20 or more years ago, patients, fellow practitioners and of course loved ones. Maybe 125 plus people groved to “Kind of Blue” the signature Miles Davis music Roger loved. Their is grief for those missing by choice or circumstance.

Roger was a beloved husband and dedicated physician who lived a life of profound compassion, unwavering commitment, and a deep love for those around him. His long and fruitful career in medicine was a testament to his selfless dedication to the well-being of his patients, whom he treated with kindness and respect. As a husband, he was a pillar of strength and support, always putting his family's needs before his own. Roger touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of healing, love, and...

I was a CCU nurse on the evening shift at Methodist Hospital. One night I had a bad feeling about a youngish MI patient. His labs and EKG were fine but I couldn´t shake the feeling of doom so I called the exchange. Dr. Lieberman called back during the intermission of an opera or live event he was attending downtown. He didn´t laugh or yell or question my call but instead said he´d stop by after his event was over. He did. The patient was coding. We worked on him for over an hour. There was...

My window of time with Roger was relatively short, but impactful to me. I was fortunate enough to meet Roger through my physician-wife. As a physician myself one would think our conversations were medical in nature. In actuality, they covered a variety of subjects including wine, photography, family and relationships. I always came away entertained, wiser and looking forward to the next conversation. Roger always felt to me to be an authentic Renaissance man which I identify as knowledgeable,...

Roger made such an impact on so many. As a yough primary care geriatric9an Roger would often "co sult" with me, offer his wisdom, and even ask me for my input. I loved just running into Roger in the hospital. Each interaction made my day better. I still treasure some of his photographs. Roger, your memory will always be a blessing. And Sue, sending you thought of love and care.
