Not sure what to say?

Roger and I became friends when we were in high school. I was very naive as a teenager and showed up at a party he was attending. He immediately hovered over me and protected me from the "not so nice" people at this gathering. I followed his career for many years, and was proud to see him succeed. Truly, he should not have left this life as early as he did.

Our condolences to the Sutherland family. Roger was not only fun, he had a real knack for saying just the right thing in a polite, professional manner. I don't know how he did it. He had such joy that put everyone at ease.
Thank you Roger for all your help and advice through the years.

diane, i am so sorry to hear about the lose of your brother. my thoughts are with you and your family. i miss you. love, gwen

Dear Casey and Jennifer... I am sitting here thinking how much this sucks that I'm writing you about your Dad's passing. I am soooo sorry! I love you both and all my love and heart ache goes out to you...I know there is nothing I can do to take the pain away but know you have so many friends and family that are here to help you in any way we can! You are in my thoughts always and PLEASE let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do. Love you... Kristi Baker

Justin, I don't know why this didn't get in the first time. I know how you must be missing your dad. He was a good man and a great friend, and I know how proud he was of you. If you need anything at all, I will try to help. You know where to get ahold of me. I will be talking to you.
Bob

Bonnie,

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Roger. It has been many years since I have seen you but I think of you often. Our thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Roger Sutherland was a great man and I too respected him in a short period time working at Sutherland Title, as he resembled many of the traits my deceased father possessed. Andrea

After reading everything that everyone has written about Roger, there is nothing new to say about him. He is absolutely everything that has been said. I am honored to say that I knew him and proud to say that I had the pleasure of working for him. At one time I was part of the "Sutherland Title" family. I can't even begin to express the amount of respect that I have for him. Justin and Bonnie, I am so sorry for your loss.
Bonnie, I love you very much !!!

Dear Sutherland Family,
May you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as we say good-bye to one of the finest men I have had the pleasure of going through this life with!
I have spent many hours talking about and sharing with Roger thoughts on life, business and golf...(the last one usually left me a little lighter in the wallet) I will carry with me many wonderful memories as will so many others that have been touched by the kindness and example of such a great man.
