Not sure what to say?

Roger, you were my first mentor and champion at Otterbein. In my work-study job as a freshman in 1971, I worked for you in the data center. I learned so much from you about technology and kindness, and you opened doors for me. Thank you forever. Best regards, Bruce

Roger and I shared many classes together as well as chapel. He will be missed for his quiet humor and gentleness.

To the Wiley family,

I extend my sympathies to you all in the passing of Professor Wiley. I was a math major at Otterbein from 1969-73. I also worked part time in the math office. I remember him as a great teacher and a nice man.

Mrs. Wiley and family,

My prayers are with you.
Mr Wiley is a quiet kind sprit.
Take Care.
Tammy

Dear Wiley Family,

I would like to send my condolences to the family on the loss of Roger. May the many years of happiness stay with you. My deepest sympathy.

Roger was always one of my favorite uncles. I'm so glad that my mom and I got to see him last year. He still had his unique sense of humor. I will miss him.

Dear Betty and Family,

Please accept Elizabeth and my condolences. Roger was one of very few special people we will ever have the honor of knowing. He was always the educator; caring, professional, tireless, positive, and invariably provided solutions. His wit was unmatched. He will be fondly remembered.

Dear Family:
It was a personal and professional honor to have known and worked with Roger at Otterbein for many years. I enjoyed his sense of humor. He was most helpful to me as I struggled with the new technology of computers. I was also honored to have Stephan in class. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Our thoughts are with you.
We'll always remember Roger for his knowledge (and his willingness to share it), his dedication and his sense of humor.
He was a pleasure to work with.
