Not sure what to say?

Rob and I became friends when First Union acquired his bank in Hickory. I traveled from Asheville to support the real estate portfolio in their market. He and I spent many lunch hours on long runs in the hills. He very graciously slowed his pace so I could keep up. We spent many pleasant hours inspecting properties in the beautiful mountains around Hickory and Lenoir. I´ll never forget his sense of humor, professionalism and decency. My condolences on your loss George Weir

Praying for your comfort with your loss. Christine Lawrence Smith `69

It was with deep sadness to read about the passing of Robbie..what a great athlete, friend, and sweetest, kindest person to be in our lives...condolences to Heather and his beautiful children and their extended families..

My love and prayers during this very difficult time. You have my deepest sympathy as I know exactly what you are experiencing. It is so hard to lose a spouse, especially so unexpectedly. Nelson thought so much of him. The great assurance is they are with Jesus. My love,
