Ron Brill Obituary
Age 58, of Mukilteo, WA passed away on May 16, 2013. Ron was a long time Washington resident and a long time Alaska commercial fisherman and boat owner. Ron was a highly respected Captain and fisherman, owning and running numerous boats over the years. He was a good Captain to his crew and mentored many young fisherman. He loved the water and the independent lifestyle of being a fisherman was proud to able to provide a good living for his family and the lifestyle he enjoyed. Ron will be remembered as a strong, loving, generous, companion, mentor and caring friend who was always there for his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor, and those who knew him and loved him could rely on his strength and help to be there when needed. We have been privileged to know such a great man and friend. He will always live on in our hearts, our memories and through the life lessons we learned from him. We can take comfort in knowing that, "Precious in the sight of the Lord," as another one of His children, whom has entered into His Eternal Presence (Psalm 116:15). A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 30th at the First Baptist Church of Martha Lake, 17319 Larch Way, Lynnwood, WA 98037. Any memorial donations may be made to Children's Home Society of Washington. Donations can be made out to "CHSW" and marked "In Memory of Ronald Brill" and mailed to: Nicholas Bellotto, Children's Home Society of Washington, P.O. Box 15190 Seattle, WA, 98115. I am 5 years late to learning about Rons passing. I worked for Ron on the Cascade in the late 80s in my early 20s. He knew me only as pup so I had to remind him of my real name when it came time to writing a pay check. He diffenately made an impact on my life. I am simply shocked that he is gone at such a young age.

I fished on the cascade with ron many years ago . Of all my memories fishing on many boats and for many captains , Ron was the man who was strong yet kind,smart yet comical, he was in charge yet he let you be his friend.He gained respect by being respectful.He was a good man and I will take this time to reflect on the time I had to know him. My sympathy to those who miss him most

I was at Ron's service today & I wanted to talk but couldn't gather myself to do so. I knew Ron since childhood as we grew up across the street from one another & He was the older kid I always looked up to. We re-connected in AK. in the 80's & ended up fishing for him on the Cascade. I will miss you Ron Brill & I'm not sure I will ever get over you not being here. Rest in peace my friend & I'll see you on the other side.

Ron it's been along time, but I remember you like it was yesterday. You were always funny, kind and had a heart of gold. Eric and Sonja remember all the fun times we always had at the lake, jet skiing, water skiing...you were the life of the party, always caring about others. May you be at piece and God rest your soul. Walter's heart is broken, as we all are. But the best is yet to come buddy and we all will meet you on the other side. God Bless you always our dear friend. Love You...

It saddens my heart to no your not with us anymore but you will always live on in our hearts..Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners is when I remember you the most when we would all be teasing eachother making fun laughing for hours :) you were a great man Ron & I feel very privileged to say you were apart of my family... Your now our angel watching from above making sure we are safe..thank you for being the unique caring loving man you were....until we meet again I love u & will miss you dearly.
