Ron HOGUE Obituary

HOGUE, Ron OttoAge 75, passed away September 14, 2011 at The Bridge, a nursing facility in South Pittsburg, TN. Ronald is survived by his wife, Bebe Larsen Hogue and his three children, Michael Larsen Hogue, Debra Hogue Bannister, and Mary Elizabeth Wilson. Surviving grandchildren are Michael Hogue II, Matthew Hogue, Sarah Hogue and Grace Hogue. The surviving children of Debra and Brown Bannister are Ellie Bannister Holcomb, Ben Bannister, John Bannister, Will Bannister, and Carly Bannister. Also surviving is Sophia Grace Wilson, daughter of Beth and Ray Gene Wilson; as well as Ronald's sisters, Mary Lou East and Carol Ann Carr. Ronald attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN and received graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma, Nashville Night Law School, New York University and Rutgers University. In 1969 he was a co-recipient of the Nashville Junior Chamber's Man of the Year award. During this time Ronald worked for the Third National Bank as vice President of marketing development. Ronald and Bebe moved to the Dallas TX area where he worked for Equitable Life Leasing as a regional manager until his retirement in 2001. He and Bebe moved back to Nashville and then moved to Franklin, TN to the Westhaven community. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to his Alzheimer's care unit. Checks are to be made out to: The Bridge at South Pittsburg and sent in care of Brown Bannister, 1905 Townsend Blvd., Franklin, TN 37064. Visitation will be held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. chapel service. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
