Dad it's been 2 yrs already and just seemed like yesterday..miss ya every day big guy. It's the holidays as I write but nothing seems festive anymore without hearing your voice or chowing down for hours on holiday food. I miss ya very much. Ill be down to the house and grave in the upcoming weeks since I haven't been down since you past as it would have been tough. But I'm gonna stop by and talk with ya for a while big guy. We love and miss you.

Today on Ron's birthday, I want to take a moment to honor this wonderful man. 14 years ago, Ron welcomed me into this family as his daughter in law with open arms and that huge genuine smile that we all know and love. He has been like a father to me and I love him so very much. He's the only person in the world who was allowed to call me Kimmy and it made me smile each time he called and greeted me that way in his big booming voice.
