On Friday, July 29, 2016. Loving husband of Rhonda Covington; father of Leslie and Angela; brother of Patricia and Dorsey (Rita) Covington. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10 from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, 5720 New Hampshire Avenue, NE, Washington, DC. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Lincoln Funeral Home.www.fort-lincoln.com

I am Ronald's God Sister one of three (Jeanette and Gwen). We all grew up together and he was family. Ronnie attended my Mother's, his God Mother's, Marguerite Burroughs Funeral January of this year 2016. And our Brother George's funeral in 2014. I last talk to Ronnie in July 2016 and my sister Gwen he a bit ago visited with pictures he took at our Mom's services. He was a gem to us. Yesterday, 11/22/16 me and my sister Gwen called his cell and your home number to let him know about Thanksgiving at Gwen's. I am so sorry and sad of your husband's passing. My family will truly miss his smile, sense of humor.

It is with deep sorrow that I write these words to you the family of Ronnie. I missed seeing him when I was last at church and had asked about him. I looked forward to getting my picture taken. It was just a shock when Debra called tonight and told me. I am so sorry to hear it. My prayers go out to you the family now and day's to come. We will really miss him for many reasons.
