My late husband Dick (Dick and Dee Dee) and I were the closet of friends with R. B. for many years. I was there when he wrote "Take A Letter Maria" and kind of inspired it. I was also the Maid of Honor at one of his weddings. I have a million wonderful memories of him, Claire, Sandy and Maura and our trips to our cabin in Crestline.
