RONALD HASKINS Obituary

Ron Haskins truly lived in a wonderful world. He had family who loved him, colleagues who respected him and friends who were loyal to the end. He touched many lives with his music and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a good musician, a better man and a great soul. Ron is survived by his wife Bridget; daughter Lexi; daughter, Gina Kams and her husband Marty, and their children, Timothy, Jonathan and Gabrielle; daughter, Michelle Bartel, and her children, Stephanie, Jordan and William; and daughter, Kelly Tell, and her children, Ian and Lauren. Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, his family asks to remember Ron and honor his faith with a donation to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. I was very sorry to see that Mr Haskins had passed. He was my English teacher at Clovis High School in the mid 1960's. I knew he played in band and when I got older I would go to a little bar on Clinton and Shields Avenue and dance away my youthful problems to his band. I have many happy memories from his class and his music. Blessings to his family .
