I am sorry to hear of Ron's passing. As usual I didn't see the paper and Turk didn't connect the name and so didn't mention it to me. I have know both sides of the family for a very long time. I grew up with the Henry family as neighbors and "adopted" the Starkey girls as kids (so I got Fern for a sister too). It is strange how life is connected and interwoven. I worked with Ron early in my railroad career with Norfolk Southern, and he was truly a fine individual and co-worker. He was always happy to help a young person and pass along his knowledge. I hope you are comforted by your memories during this difficult time.

Dear Fern and family,
You know that my heart is heavy with the news of Ron's home-going. He was my "big brother" when I was a child, and I loved him dearly then. When we reconnected at RHBC, the love continued and grew to include you and the family, as well.
