Not sure what to say?

To Ron's family my deepest sympathy.Ron was a classmate and teammate. I really enjoyed our reconnection and conversation at Andrew Lewis High School's 50th class reunion in 2008.
This world is a better place because God chose to share Ron with all of us

To the Henry clan,
I am sorry to hear of Ron's passing. As usual I didn't see the paper and Turk didn't connect the name and so didn't mention it to me. I have know both sides of the family for a very long time. I grew up with the Henry family as neighbors and "adopted" the Starkey girls as kids (so I got Fern for a sister too). It is strange how life is connected and interwoven. I love my Salem girls and their mom and am sorry for your loss. I am also saddened for the Henry siblings as...

I worked with Ron early in my railroad career with Norfolk Southern, and he was truly a fine individual and co-worker. He was always happy to help a young person and pass along his knowledge. I hope you are comforted by your memories during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers to Ron's family. Ron and I were close boyhood friends and neighbors. God bless him.

To Fern and all the family. Ron touched many lives including mine and we are all better off having known him.

fern....all i can say right now is...peace. i am on a scout reservation on the maryland eastern shore with 50 fine young men...doing what i can to make a difference in their lives. i just found out and wish i could be there...but i realize ron would tell me that this is important work and to stay put! you know i loved the man! i have two great mentors that have made me who i am as a railroader, a family man, and as a friend to many -- one is my dad, and the other is ron henry. i have...

Lynette, Jimmy and Ashtyn-
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your Dad and Grandpa. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please give our best to all of your family.

My thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to each of you. May God hold each of you close during this ever so difficult time. Ron was a great person, I met him through Steve playing golf. Steve and Sherman, I'm so very sorry for the loss of you brother

Dear Fern and family,
You know that my heart is heavy with the news of Ron's home-going. He was my "big brother" when I was a child, and I loved him dearly then. When we reconnected at RHBC, the love continued and grew to include you and the family, as well. The world needs more men of faith and integrity like Ron, and I mourn his passing - but rejoice in knowing he is at home with his Lord. May God comfort you and bring you peace.
With love,
Rick and Becky
