Ronald Roberts Obituary

Mickey P. Roberts, passed away May 16, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Myers and is survived by his wife Edith "Dodie" Roberts; children, Deborah Buchner, Ronald Roberts Jr. (Diana), and Stephanie Campbell (Bruce); grandsons, Joey Cartieri, Ronnie Roberts, and Anthony Roberts; granddaughters, Samantha Woelfel, and Lindsay Buchner; great-grandsons, Corbyn, and Adrian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil & Rosa Roberts.
Mickey worked at South Marine Supply for 21 years and Land-N-Sea for 23 years.
Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, with services to follow at 11am at Broadway Community Church of God, 3309 Broadway, Fort Myers, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to SWFL Outreach at Broadway Community Church. Info, (239)334-4880.

Hi Edith, Had I known about Mickey's passing, I would have come to the services. You know all the kids at Marsh Avenue Church of God were close and we all love each other. I am happy to have had y'all as Christian friends for all these years even tho we have lived in separate cities. May God Bless you and all the family. I'm glad I know where Mickey is! Dodie, How many years have we all known each other? Many years! I will always remember his thoughtfulness to his mom and Dad, and his thoughtfulness and care for my mom and dad. He is well loved by Joni and Pete, and cathi and her family. So sorry to be unable to attend service, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. love, Jannette and Walt.
