I remember Ron's beautiful voice and it really caused me pain during his funeral services. He was an award winning singer (won HS state awards and All Navy Talent) and I was OK in the funeral services during any talking, but I could not sing. I'd get a couple notes out and start crying. Just thinking about it chokes me up. While the Lancaster Men's Chorus (of which he was a member and soloist) sang the Lord's Prayer, I was sobbing quietly and my son, Mike, moved over to comfort me.
