Not sure what to say?

Ron was THE best teacher I have had at any point, K-12, trade school, technical college and university. Ron taught History, and his influence -- together with my lifelong love of History -- led to my History Minor. He was earning his Ph.D at the same time that I was earning my Bachelors. We ended up having seats next to each other for Brewers games. He was such an intelligent, caring, fun and special man. I have missed him, now, for a full decade. Thank for the opportunity to remember and...

I was really hoping when I heard of this it was not him. He was a great professor. I have never really known any one personally to have died and this is terrible. Again a GREAT PROFESSOR

Ron...I always had the sense that you, my older brother, were special. But two incidents stand out to me. When I called you as President Obama was being declared the winner of that office, in '08, your first response was to congratulate me, as a way of expressing your delight, and hope. I realized, on that day, how much yiu had shaped who I am. Then when you were recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, a condition I have lived with for 21 years, you simply refused to give in and let...

Dear Pat,
I just now learned of Ron's passing and was so sorry to hear about it. I was sad when he left UWM, because of all the work he did for us here. But It was wonderful to read all the remembrances of his MATC students. Clearly he is still with us in spirit.

Best,

Tony Ciccone

My thoughts and prays are with the family of Dr.Snyder. He will live on in our memories. He was my professor at Matc. He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself.

I am deeply saddened by his passing. Dr. Snyder inspired me to study history and politics. I took every course he taught at MATC. I am graduating from UWM in a few weeks, largely because of his inspiration. My thoughts are with his family. Thank you for all you've done Dr. Snyder, your indelible mark will not be forgotten .

Ronnie was a great friend many years ago. He had a great influence on me during our teen years. He was always available, sensible and warm. I can not believe he is no longer with us.

"Words can not describe how much Dr. Snyder has impacted my life in the past year and half i have had him for classes at M.A.T.C west campus. I have never and WILL never have a teacher quite like him. When i finally receive my teaching liscense in a few years i hope to have half of his teaching ability."

To all of my dad's friends, students and colleague's-as you may imagine he was as fabulous, if not better, of a father as he was a professional and friend. His spirit lives on in all of us. Thank you for being a part of his life and your wonderful support in his passing. I am so proud to be his daughter and beyond lucky to have known him inside and out for 37 years. I only hope to be half as tremendous of a person as he is.
