Not sure what to say?

The memories I have of Ron Stander is when my Grandfather Leonard Hawkins would bring him home after a long day of practice. I was a child and Ron would let us kids climb on his back. He would play with us. He was a awesome person.

I would have to say the day Ronnie, Tony and myself went over mad Dogs house we all had a great time, and all times we all went out to eat with our wife's, And you guys coming g over, garage sales and just vists.

RON USED TO ATTEND MY WEIGHTLIFTING AND BODYBUILDING CONTESTS. I REALLY ENJOYED THOSE TIMES. YOU USED TO BELLOW OUT AFTER THE CONTESTS THE GUYS ONLY GOT ONE HAND AND HE STILL WINS-GREG WAS A CHAMP. I'm sorry for your loss Toddy. I met you both when he signed a poster board of his fight with Joe Frazier. We had a nice conversation and he introduced me to you. He was a gentleman and I'll treasure that memory. All my best to you.

Toddy: I am so sorry. Ron was such a sweetheart. I couldn't believe RON STANDER was cat sitting next door. I hope better days come to you.

Dear Toddy: What a wonderful spouse you had! And what a devoted and caring wife you have been. Thinking about you and wishing you peace at this time. Ron is in a better place, without pain and you will see him again.

We are very sad to learn of Ron's passing. Ron had the respect of all the boxers who ever knew him. He was a hero to all of us! Blessings to his family. Rest in peace Ron. You will be missed. The Wootens
