My family went to St. Thomas U.C.C. with the Weitzels. Some of our fondest memories were the camping retreat weekends that St. Thomas used to have. We were out in nature and had a very fun time. I am sure that he is up in heaven with my parents reminiscing about all of our time together at St. Thomas.

I will always remember Ron for the warmth of his smile, the kindness in his heart, and the way he made people feel. He always looked for, and found, the goodness in people. He always made me feel welcome over the years and he was very generous with his love. I admired him greatly as a devoted father, family man, and community leader, living a life that reflected his values of commitment, integrity, and honesty. He will be missed, I will miss him, and I am so grateful for having known him...
