Not sure what to say?

These last ten years without my husband Richard have been a journey of grief and growth. It is said that there are phases of grief and I would agree.That said the loss of our daughter Kassy, then Richard a year and a half later is simply beyond comprehension.The shockingly horrific circumstances of each loss in its own right continues to be tragic and overwhelming.That said here are the some of the most important lessons that come to mind as I think back on my journey to the place of joy and...

Grief is a journey which I am still traveling without you and Kassy. I love you both, and I miss each of you terribly. What could have been, what would have been, what should have been.

Thought the loss of Kassy was going to see us into old age.Like a torndao never its the same place twice.Did not work out that way. My heart is broken further into small small pieces. I love u.

Mark and family;
It's been a long time since we've seen each other. I guess he was working for the late Sen. East at the time. We went to Bethesda and 1/2 year at Neal along with riding the school bus. I used to come over to your house on Southern Dr. and play. hard to believe I'm a grandfather now and those days are history. Your family is my prayers and I know God watches over the rightous so Richard will be at home in Heaven. Take care and please stay in...

Joanne and I met Richard when we started attending Shiloh UMC in 2003 shortly after moving to the area. I counted Richard as a good friend. I shall always remember the 1 hour talks we had that always ended up being 5 or 6. My heart and prayers go out to the family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Just a word to let your family know how much Richard meant to us. We will definitely miss him but I know he is hanging out with Jesus now. Thanks for sharing your lives with us and blessing us beyond belief. You will never know what a special place he holds in our hearts. He was a very genuine person who had a direct connection with his Lord & Savior.

Praying for peace during this time!
