Read MoreI appreciate Ronnie Freeman and his mom Opel who made the best chocolate chip cokes North F.M. 1085 north of Trent going all the way to Roby. I loved having Ronnie as a bus driver going to school in Trent ISD and back from school. Then you meet with him in the pasture or when working the fields. And always take a break to go to Opel´s house for a bite to eat , & tea.

Mr. Freeman was a soft spoken, right to the point, God loving man. These are rare qualities in 2021. I am forever blessed to have know him and be a small part of the Freeman family.

Ronnie was an amazing man. He always had a smile on his face and an encouraging word for everyone he met or greeted. He was at almost all of the sporting events cheering on the kids as well as the parents. He loved Trent ISD and we were blessed to have him support the community and school for so many years. He leaves a great legacy behind. God bless the family. I pray for peace and comfort during this time.
