Ronnie Junior Hunt, age 60 passed away Thursday October 21, 2021 at his home in Marion.


Ronnie was born in Wisconsin and was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hunt and his sister, Ginny Hunt. He worked as a coalminer, he enjoyed his job and truly loved his family.  Ronnie was a member of the Pugh Mountain Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed playing and singing bluegrass and gospel music.


Survivors include, his wife Rita Hunt; mother Kathleen Hunt; children, Jessie Hunt, Ginny Hunt, Gabe Hunt and wife Ashley, Garrett Hunt; grandchild, Lucas Hunt; brother, Ralph Hunt; sisters Linda Heartlein and husband Andy, Sandy Smith;  mother in law, Wanda Billings and husband Mike; father in law, Melvin Thweatt and wife Debra; sisters in law, Amy Blevins and husband Ben, Keisha Trivett and husband Cameron; brother in law Boyd Thweatt; he is also survived by his church family and his music family.


Funeral services will be held at 7PM Monday October 25, 2021 at the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Reverend Donnie Prater officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7PM prior to services.  Interment will be Tuesday at 1PM at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery. Family and friends are ask to meet the funeral home at 12PM for the funeral procession. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.  Bradley’s Funeral Home is serving the Hunt family.

I didn't know Ronnie but after reading what Joshua Brown wrote about him, I would like to say that I am so sorry for his passing.....May God grant you peace during this very difficult time............
