Ronnie Junior Hunt, age 60, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at his home in Marion.

Ronnie was born in Wisconsin, and was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hunt and his sister, Ginny Hunt. He worked as a coalminer, he enjoyed his job and truly loved his family. Ronnie was a member of the Pugh Mountain Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed playing and singing bluegrass and gospel music.

Survivors include, his wife, Rita Hunt; mother, Kathleen Hunt; children, Jessie Hunt, Ginny Hunt, Gabe Hunt and wife, Ashley, and Garrett Hunt; grandchild, Lucas Hunt; brother, Ralph Hunt; sisters, Linda Heartlein and husband, Andy, and Sandy Smith; mother-in-law, Wanda Billings and husband, Mike; father-in-law, Melvin Thweatt and wife, Debra; sisters-in-law, Amy Blevins and husband, Ben, and Keisha Trivett and husband, Cameron; and brother-in-law, Boyd Thweatt. He is also survived by his church family and his music family.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion, with the Reverend Donnie Prater officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
