Not sure what to say?

Col. Peoples was my commander at the 317 TAW Pope AFB and was a role model for all especially the young African American aviators like myself. Rest in Power Sir

Brother Peoples, it seems like yesterday that you left us and entered into the Glory Of Our Lord and the Omega Chapter!! Continue to Rest In Peace With The Lord until we meet again. I Love You My Brother. 06!

Col Peoples was an inspiration to me as a young officer at AFROTC HQ,Maxwell AFB. My prayers are with your family.

Joyace, I just saw that Ronnie had passed. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Ronnie was a great person and I valued him as a friend who always displayed a "Touch of Class". Hope your family is well.

Joyace,

I just picked up Military Officer Magazine this afternoon and learned of Ronnie's death. Cyndy and I are so very sorry and send our heartfelt sympathy to you and the children (as we remember them); they're now, we're sure, wonderful adults. How could they be otherwise with wonderful parents?

So many people pass through our lives during an Air Force career. Most are forgotten, but a chosen few remain in our fond memory, even through we've been out of touch for too many...

Dear Joyace...
I was planning a trip to Nashville in October, and was trying to find Ron's phone number...I was so sorry to read his obituary...Ron and I trained together at Sewart AFB in 1963..I last saw your family at Naha AFB sometime in the "60s" I was able to talk to Ron when I flew for Piedmont, and was passing through Fayetteville. Ron was a great pilot, and we didn't scare our instructor too much...I am so sorry for your loss...Paul Dean..

Col. Peoples was a great leader. It was a pleasure to serve under him at Rhein Main AB. West Germany.

I remember our days at Pope very well. You were a true leader. Rest in peace my fellow warrior. You truly deserve it.

CMSgt (Ret) Robbie Robertson

Just found out today from a friend that Col Ronnie has passed on. We were neighbors in Fayetteville, NC on Hedrick Drive while we were stationed at Pope AFB. I have nothing but great thoughts of him and will cherish those memories.
