Joyace,
I just picked up Military Officer Magazine this afternoon and learned of Ronnie's death. Cyndy and I are so very sorry and send our heartfelt sympathy to you and the children (as we remember them); they're now, we're sure, wonderful adults. How could they be otherwise with wonderful parents?
So many people pass through our lives during an Air Force career. Most are forgotten, but a chosen few remain in our fond memory, even through we've been out of touch for too many years. We'll never forget our time together in Montgomery when the kids were little, and we fondly remember running into Ronnie at the R-M terminal a number of years on. He was a true gentlemen whom so many will miss.
Our fondest thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Joyace...
I was planning a trip to Nashville in October, and was trying to find Ron's phone number...I was so sorry to read his obituary...Ron and I trained together at Sewart AFB in 1963..I last saw your family at Naha AFB sometime in the "60s" I was able to talk to Ron when I flew for Piedmont, and was passing through Fayetteville. Ron was a great pilot, and we didn't scare our instructor too much...I am so sorry for your loss...Paul Dean..

To the Family,
I was deeply saddened when I learned of Col Peoples' death. As you know I have known him since I was a student in AFROTC at Tenn State Univ.in the late 1960's and would see him occasionally over the years. He was a true inspiration to me and the main reason I made the Air Force a career. May God continue to bless the family during these difficult times.
With my deepest sympathy,
