Rosa Santiago, age 87, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on December 25th, 2018 at HPH Hospice in Brooksville. She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and moved to Brooklyn, New York during her twenties. She met the love of her life, Salvador Santiago, in Long Island, NY and the couple was married in 1971. They moved to Florida in 1993 from New Jersey. Rosa loved to cook, decorate and take care of her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and remembered as a happy person who was tough but fair. Rosa is preceded in death by son, David Zeno. Survivors include; husband, Salvador Santiago; children, Hector Faria, Natividad Rios, Enid Faria, Carlos Faria, Salvador Santiago and Debbie Santiago; grandchildren, Christine Zasa, John Rios, Matthew Rios, Andrew Rios, Natalie Gilligan, Amanda Faria-Bossinger, Bryant Faria, Aaron Faria, Brandon Faria, Monica Santiago, Gianna Santiago, Angela Faria, David Faria, Constantino Faria, and Mia Faria; and 11 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 30th, 2018 at 10 am at Turner Funeral Home before she is laid to rest at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill, FL.
