I think of Grandma Rose every day, and was so happy to be able to give her the gift of another great grandbaby in her final months. She loved babies so much! Even in her last days she would lean up to play with Teo. I miss knowing she is here praying for me, but take comfort in knowing there is an Angel watching over Teo and me.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences to you all. Rose was my godmother (madrina Rosa)and I admired her very much, although we didn't see each other very much, I always had her in my heart. My mother (Clarita Cordova) always talked with her on the phone when she was alive, and I used to take her over to Tennyson St. when she lived there. My madrina was given the gift of a long life and she raised one heck of a family. She was a special lady and a loving and wonderful mother. Her duty to her family on this earth will truly be rewarded to her by our Creator. Keep her memory alive by staying united as a family.
Sincerely,
Her goddaughter - Lugarda Linan aka/Lu Linan

Mom, I have been your daughter-in-law now for 54 years! It's a long time of memories we both shared together. We had our babies together(Stan and Ray) watching our children grow together, chatting on the phone...watching you make tortillas all the time. It was a long time of wonderful memories..there will be laughter and sadness when all your children get together. We will talk about all the times we all spent together and remember the fun things that happened in your home on Tennyson St. Mom it will take some time to let go, however we are closer to meeting you again. Hope you see your compadre and comadre up in heaven! Dance to the varserllana to my father's music and hug Ronnie once again. I love you your daughter...Cleo Lopez

Most men only get one mother-in-law and to Rose I was her only son-in-law. When I was 23 years old I lost my mother to cancer, she was only 52. Rose stepped in and immediately assumed those duties as a mother; in fact, she did the day I married her only daughter. She was there to tell me when I was out of line, but always there to offer praise too. She would always tell me she was praying for me, praying for God to watch over me and bring me home safe. God knows I needed it and somehow it made me feel safe just knowing she was praying for me. I will miss her, but I know she is still praying for me.
