My kids went to Miss Rose's Art Camp at Mount Zion Church for a several summers. They loved it. We always watched for the dates of the camp to be posted on the sign in front of the church to make sure we didn't miss it. Art from one of the summer camps with Miss Rose hangs in my office. Miss Rose was a wonderful person.

To Leon, Ama, Bubba, Trudy and all of Rose´s extended family, I read of Rose´s passing with sadness and loss of someone who was special and important to me and my family. She was fun, joyful, easy, loving, talented and smart! She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. We send you our love and sympathy. Dusty Wellborn

Rose was my middle school art teacher and I am proud to own several of her beautiful pieces. She was so kind ,funny ,motherly and a joy to know. My prayers go out to her family; I know she will be dearly missed.

To know Rose was to love her. I will always remember her for the love and kindness she showed to my mother, who considered her a dear friend. Her name was never spoken by anyone without words of praise and honor for a woman of strength, compassion, talent, genuine goodness, and integrity. Rose was a friend to all, and she will be greatly missed.

God bless you Leon and your family in this time of sorrow. Rose wea a wonderful person.
