My kids went to Miss Rose's Art Camp at Mount Zion Church for a several summers. They loved it. We always watched for the dates of the camp to be posted on the sign in front of the church to make sure we didn't miss it. Art from one of the summer camps with Miss Rose hangs in my office. Miss Rose was a wonderful person.

To know Rose was to love her. I will always remember her for the love and kindness she showed to my mother, who considered her a dear friend. Her name was never spoken by anyone without words of praise and honor for a woman of strength, compassion, talent, genuine goodness, and integrity. Rose was a friend to all, and she will be greatly missed.
