DONNELLY, Rosemarie

age 73, of Sun City Center, formerly a resident of Schenectady, NY, Guilderland, NY, and Amsterdam, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She is the beloved wife of nearly 50 years of Bernard Donnelly; devoted mother of Kevin (Lauren) Donnelly; loving grandmother of Olivia and Sawyer Donnelly and sister of Paul (Mary Ellen) Jankowski. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Rosemarie was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, Albany Business College, Russel Sage College and State University of New York at Albany. She was employed as a secretary at General Electric in Schenectady, NY. She later pursued her passion as a teacher and taught in the Amsterdam School District and Brunswick Central Schools. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center, on Thursday, June 16, 11 am. Rosemarie enjoyed music, movies and playing golf. In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
