Ross Orozco, 77, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at his home in Yorba Linda, California. The oldest of 10 children, Ross was born September 23, 1938 to Ross Angel and Lilian Joan (Payan) Orozco in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Canoga Park High School and earned a Bachelors Degree in History from UCLA.
Ross was a loving husband, father, and friend. He showed his family unconditional, unwavering love and support. Ross exemplified service in every interaction he had; he was always looking to help other people, especially those who were less fortunate. Above all, his sense of humor was one of his most charming qualities. He provided laughter to all who were lucky enough to connect with him.
Ross is survived by his wife, Joann Orozco (Rinder); daughters, Caritia and Elena Orozco; brothers, Steve Orozco, Jeff Mesloh; sisters, Paula Brimigion, Carla Alford, Irene (Cookie) Luna, Pat Orozco, Celeste Orozco, Lydia Ramirez-Escamilla, Mary-Lou Orozco; step-mother- Mary Orozco; aunt, Hilda Ochoa, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ross was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Orozco.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. Martin de Porres Church at 10am PST with Father Jeff officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Memorial Park in Brea. Ross was a beloved member of the Conoga Park High School Class of '56, an outstanding athlete and friend.
WE all shall miss him at our 60th Reunion this year and will include him in our Memorial Brunch September 15.
