Read MoreI remember Mr. Bays cutting all the limbs off the front tree and sealing it with some type of tar. Mrs. Bays was so mad because she thought he killed it. He told her it would grow back even greener. No one believed him. The next year we all ate crow. The tree grew back and it was beautiful.
