I will surely miss Roy. He was a real man and caring person. Sorry I didn't know about his passing for 4 days, too late to attend funeral.

I will cherish his big smile and how he always made each one of us feel like we were special to him in some way and that was everytime we seen him. I will miss the big hug and kiss on the check. Thank you to the Cannon's family for sharing your father with Tarkington and may God give you all comfort and peace at this time of your loss.

He will be dearly missed. He was an amazing man.

Getting a hug from Roy at Cannon's was always the best. Roy has truly touched so many lives and was such a wonderful caring man and the Tarkington community will always have a special spot in our hearts for him as well as many memories of him. Rest in peace dear, we will never forget you.

I'll miss you Roy. You were the last that carried the Cannon name in this area. God bless your family.

So sorry for your loss,a truely sweet and good man.

My favorite memory of Roy was in 1981 when I moved to the prarie. Mom and Dad would take me there (cannons old building) there were bar stools, taller than I was at 8 years old. I would hop up on the bar stool and have one of their big, fat juicy, burgers, and talk for hours with Roy and Nelly. Oh the cherished memories. What a loving man!! You NEVER went without a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I will miss you Roy. Say hi and hug and kiss my daddy for me. Love ya bunches
