Roy James Chappell

I heard the news about Roy this weekend. He surely enjoyed life. We saw each other often when I was in Dublin, primarily at Rotary related functions. He frequently kidded me about winning a five pound can of peanuts that he donated to a Rotary golf tournament. Of course, he kidded about many other things too. I always knew I would smile and laugh when I saw Roy. I will miss his fun and enthusiasm, and my Mother telling me that she had seen Roy Chappell and he had asked about me. Please...

I WAS SO SORRY TO LEARN OF YOUR GREAT LOSS. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. CHERISH THE GREAT MEMORIES THAT YOU HAVE OF YOUR LOVED ONE.
HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND WILL BE MISSED BY MANY PEOPLE. HE GAVE SO MUCH BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AND OUR COUNTRY AS A WHOLE.
