Not sure what to say?

Dr. Maletz treated my mother for kidney failure in the early eighties, and was subsequently my doctor for more than twenty years. I had complete confidence in him. He was the best.

He was on duty during a blizzard late 70s when I was transported to LGH ER.Following a ski accident an 3 bottles of Smirnoffs my kidneys were not working an he performed a dialysis procedure on me that saved my life.I ran into an saw him he always remembered always pleasant even when it was tough

I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Maletz while working at St. Joseph's hospital in the pharmacy. What a truly brilliant physician. My deepest condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear this. Dr. Maletz was our Dr. For many many year's until Ins. Changed. He was by far the Best in everything he did. Extremely kind and understanding. He even gave me extra time in talking me through a very difficult situation with my mom. May you rest easy. Our thoughts and prayer's are with your loved ones.

Condolences to all family and friends. Back in 1987 is when I met Dr. Maletz in my room at Lowell General. A scared and confused 18 year old sick and not knowing what was happening to me. After 2 weeks of tests in comes Dr. Maletz with my diagnosis of Polycystic Kidney and Liver decease, he put me at ease that he was there to help me through things. I will be forever grateful for his kind words and getting me through what I though was the end of my life. RIP Dr.

I was so sad to see this today. Sending hugs to you Linda and family. I met Roy back in the 70,s. He used to have his car serviced by My husband Brian and Jerry and they became quick friends. I will always remember the way you made us laugh, your interesting stories. The love you had for Linda and the kids. And the care you gave to many family members.. You were one of the greatest people I had the honor of knowing. I will never forget you. Rest In Peace sweet man.

I've know of Dr. Maletz since the late 70s. It wasn't until the late 90s when he became my nephrologist because of kidney failure. He helped me so much to understand it and what my future would look like as my disease progressed. He helped me through dialysis and the surgeries (which he did some). My wife and I would call his private cell with questions and concerns and at no time did we feel we were a burden to him. During one of his surgeries on me, his cell kept ringing. My wife picked...

We met Roy when hubby went into renal failure. We were so comforted by his outgoing nature, expertise, and passion. Jim Broderick (hubby) had a lot of medical emergencies until we were finally approved for transplant. Roy gave me his cell phone number so I could call him day or night (He even let me assist at Lowell General when he removed a dialysis access from Jim's chest). I wish someone like Roy could live forever. A man head and shoulders above the rest. Our heartfelt condolences, Linda...
