Only a few days ago did my son Yosuke ask me Ruben's family name. Today, he tried to find him through Facebook and knew that Ruben's in the heaven. Ruben was Yosuke's best friend as sixth graders. I still remember they played every day. I wanted to see him again.

My condolences to the Curtin family. I have soo many great memories with Ruben riding our bikes all over Santa Cruz... He'll be dearly missed..
