Alberts, Dr. Ruby W., 87, retired speech language pathologist, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard J. Alberts; son, David Alberts; sisters, Ruth Harris and Betty Young. Survivors: sons, Joel (Susan) Alberts of Edmond, OK, Jon Alberts of Wichita, Paul (Joan) Alberts of Lynn County, MO; daughter, Joni Alberts-Plumer of Brookville, KS; brother, George Wilson of Las Animas, CO; grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Michael, Daniel, Samuel, Amos, Jeremiah, Micah, Ruth, Sarah, and Caleb Alberts, Tova Plumer and Vaughn Plumer; six nieces and four nephews. Visitation with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m., Friday, at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway and Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway. Memorials established with Religious Nurture Center, 330 N.
