Ruby Alberts Obituary

Alberts, Dr. Ruby W., 87, retired speech language pathologist, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard J. Alberts; son, David Alberts; sisters, Ruth Harris and Betty Young. Survivors: sons, Joel (Susan) Alberts of Edmond, OK, Jon Alberts of Wichita, Paul (Joan) Alberts of Lynn County, MO; daughter, Joni Alberts-Plumer of Brookville, KS; brother, George Wilson of Las Animas, CO; grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Michael, Daniel, Samuel, Amos, Jeremiah, Micah, Ruth, Sarah, and Caleb Alberts, Tova Plumer and Vaughn Plumer; six nieces and four nephews. Visitation with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m., Friday, at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway and Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway. Memorials established with Religious Nurture Center, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202, Arc of Sedgwick County, 2919 W. 2nd St., Wichita, KS 67203 and Starkey, Inc, 4500 West Maple, Wichita, KS 67212.
