Ruby was always so kind and welcoming to me and my family. My husband is her great grandson, and our son was her ONLY great GREAT grandson! He was lucky enough to met her and be adored by her on some special occasions.

Dear Family,

I too have wonderful memories of being at your house and being around your fun family growing up. I was saddened to hear that Aunt Ruby has passed. I can still hear her fun laugh..even now! Sorry I'm not able to be there for the funeral. I love you cousins...I love you Uncle Vearl! Thanks for being so nice to our Mother!!

I remember wonderful smells from the kitchen, lots of laughter, a beautifully kept home, lots of music and most of all, lots of unconditional LOVE!! I will miss you Aunt Ruby. I love you Uncle Vearl. Dixie, Dan, Lynn, Jill and Jacque, you have each set incredible examples for me and I love each of you for the special place you hold in my heart.

I wanted to let you know Grandpa that we love you and all love Grandma so much. We all have so many great memories of her and are lucky we got such a fantastic grandma (and grandpa).
