I think this story speaks true of my granny. As a child, once on a Florida trip with my mom, sister, myself and granny. She rode the entire drive home with curlers in her hair, however once the long drive home was coming ahead she asked that we pull over so that she may take out her curlers and fluff her newly enhanced hairdo as to look gorgeous when reunited with her husband (granddaddy).
