Stephen, I love you, more than you’ll ever understand…We will get through this tough and confusing time, TOGETHER…remember what I told you, when you feel like smiling, smile, when you feel like crying cry, when you feel like talking-call me, when you need someone to listen to you- PRAY. It’s ok to cry and never be afraid to ask questions… The love your family has for you will never fade no matter if we’re in heaven or on earth. (Pooh)

I like so many others was truly shocked when learning of Mrs. Blackwell's passing. Mrs. Rudy was all and more to Stamford than anyone could imagine. Her and my mother were close and she was very helpful to us with renting properties.
I passed their home on Friday and the only thing I notice was that he black Volvo wasn't in the driveway but two other cars were, because I didn't hear of her passing until Saturday evening. Man God took home a lovely person for sure.

Dear Blackwell Family,
I am very sorry to hear about Ruby's passing. I still have fond memories of the Thanksgiving dinner I shared with your family in 1979 while my mother was in the hospital. Ruby was a treasure in many ways and now she is God's treasure.
I wish you all peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.
Regards,

I had the pleasure of working with her on initiatives while we both seved and worshipped at Union Baptist Church. God needed another angel and called Miss Ruby...
