Stephen, I love you, more than you’ll ever understand…We will get through this tough and confusing time, TOGETHER…remember what I told you, when you feel like smiling, smile, when you feel like crying cry, when you feel like talking-call me, when you need someone to listen to you- PRAY. It’s ok to cry and never be afraid to ask questions… The love your family has for you will never fade no matter if we’re in heaven or on earth. (Pooh)

I like so many others was truly shocked when learning of Mrs. Blackwell's passing. Mrs. Rudy was all and more to Stamford than anyone could imagine. Her and my mother were close and she was very helpful to us with renting properties.
I passed their home on Friday and the only thing I notice was that he black Volvo wasn't in the driveway but two other cars were, because I didn't hear of her passing until Saturday evening. Man God took home a lovely person for sure.
My heart and blessings to Mr. Blackwell, Walter whom I have known since the 50's and Onedia.
My God bless and keep you with all memories of a true gem.

To the Blackwell Family:

I am saddened to learn of the passing of the lovely "Miss Ruby" as I knew her and affectionately called her. Miss ruby will always be remembered as a beautiful, smart and caring woman with a unique sense of humor. I will never forget how she always had a kind word, her quiet strength and determination. I had the pleasure of working with her on initiatives while we both seved and worshipped at Union Baptist Church. God needed another angel and called Miss Ruby home to be with him.

May God continually bless you and keep you in your hour of need.

Mrs Ruby Blackwell was a Jewel! She had to be "One of God's Special Angels". We are so blessed to have known her. She facilitated our move when we moved up from Atlanta, and showed us such love and kindness. She assisted us as we acclimated to the Stamford community. I shall never forget the lunches that she insisted upon paying for.

She loved her family and served her community. She has left an enormous impression upon our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and may God continue to Bless You Always

I was saddened to hear of Rubys death. During my time working at
the Stamford Advociate I had many occasions to take ads for her. She was a true professional in the way she carried out her R. E. business.
