Carlie and Susie - I just learned of Jackie's death last night at a visitation for Bruce Laing's wife Deborah - you'll remember Bruce from Holloway Street Church - and my sympathy to you and your families. You know I loved your Mom and Dad...they helped teach me to sign and I'm forever grateful to them. I have so many friends that I wouldn't have without their patience in helping me learn - and I wasn't their best student for sure!! They were dear people, faithful Christians, and always...

We will miss Jackie and Carl as they are sweet couple ever since I first met them when I was little girl..They always stop by visit us in Clinton, Tenn when they go to Nashville to visit their daughter Susan Good Memories ILY always

Our family express our deepest sympathy for the loss of Jackie. As I grew up, I have been around Jackie and many other deaf folks giving me advices and stories of their pasts. Cherished memories I have tucked away in my heart of Jackie and others.

She was my first cousin and lived by me. We suares lots of time together. Her deafness did not hinder our talking. She always called me Fannie Pearl because Pearl was my mother's name. A sweet person and she will be missed.
