Ruby Hanson Johnson

Aunt Ruby knew me before I was born. She and my Mother were very close friends since they were young Mother's. My brother, sister and I spent a lot of our childhood at her home. She always said she was our Aunt Ruby. I actually believed she really was my Aunt until I was old enough to know better. She was in and out of my life for so many years, even after my Mother died. I moved out of state and lost touch with her years ago. She was always in my heart, and I still to this day tell her...

I knew Ms Ruby as a child. I frequently stayed with "Aunt Evelyn" and Uncle Robert" while my father was hospitalized. I remember Thanksgiving of 1957 all the family was there on Winship St. Ms Ruby was definitely a presence I noticed. What a LIFE!!! My condolences to all her family. So glad I met her.
