Ruby R. Litsheim

Ruby R. Litsheim formerly of Glenview The funeral service for Ruby R. Litsheim (nee Wessels), 105, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 31, at the funeral home. Born June 21, 1904, in German Valley, Ill., she died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Bethany Terrace Nursing Home, Morton Grove. Ruby's late husband, Clarence, was a longtime member of Electrical Workers Union #134, and was one of its first members. Ruby was the beloved wife of the late Clarence; loving mother of Nancy G. (Edward) Corrigan of Morton Grove; cherished grandmother of Mary Ann Corrigan, Michael (the late Sheila) Corrigan, Jacquelyn (Dave) Grundtvig, Colleen (Bob) Quirk and Jill (Brian) Miller, and great-grandmother of Kathleen, Eddie, Emily, Jack, Nicholas, Thomas, T.J., Maddie, Quinn, Olivia and Kevin; and dear sister of the late Grace Wessels, Mako Wessels, Wessel Wessels and Annie Cahill.
