Ruby , it´s been 11 years and often I think about that phone call. I pray for your family that you left behind and hope they are all doing well. May you continue to watch over them and until we meet again. One of the baddest Soldier ever I had a chance to know in basic training and their first duty station

Ruby Ruiz was my aunt I loved her and when I found out she had past away I was sad but I know she is peacefully relaxing in heven where she is away from harm and danger some may say love you others sylay Thank you for you're service I say Miss you see you soon.

Ruby, When you entered the Army I remembered the other drill sergeants saying how good you were going to be. As I arrived to FT. Benning, Ga you were one of the first basic training soldiers that I ran into. I still remember your smile that day. It was a privilege to be one of your drill Sergeants and it was great to be in the same unit as you. Your memorial was great today and you would have been proud of everyone showing love for you. You will be forever missed and my condolences go...

Cusin i only lived with you for 3mo when I was a child and I know that since I lived in Texas and you lived in California we never got to spend time with each other after I came back to Texas but know that I loved the time I spent with you and I will see you again in heaven.....Love Amaris Leon
