Remembering Miss Ruby, she is a breath of fresh air, a real gem.

I had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to know the Schumacher's in my childhood when Frank was our minister at Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in Orange County. Furthermore, I also had the pleasure to work with Ruby at the National Bank & Trust/Jefferson-Palmyra Office for a couple of years. Ruby was an exemplary employee and individual that was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in my learning the customer base and the basics of being a rookie Branch Manager. I last saw Ruby a few years ago when we happened to meet in the dentist's waiting room at the same time. It was the highlight of my day and have thought of her many times since. She was definitely a very special person. Frank and my husband, Harry Holliday, worked together in the C&O office in Charlottesville many years.
